The Earthvision Cygnet MOFF.2 Multiple Offset Focus Feed System is used to equip a single satelite antenna for reception of signals from two or more satellites simultaneously. Coupled with a wide array of feed horns for C Band, Ku Band and Dual Band satellites, the MOFF.2 is adaptable to a wide variety of applications.
The Earthvision MOFF.2 is supplied with its own set of feed arms adaptable to any satellite antenna regardless of diameter or focal length. Detailed instructions are supplied with the unit to lead the installer through the assembly and alignment process.
Earthvision's MOFF.2 system is ideal for CATV, SMATV, eduactional and broadcast televisoin systems as well as audio and data reception systems where signals from more than one closely spaced satellite are required simultaneously.

RANGE OF APPLICATION
The MOFF.2 may be used to receive satellites as closely spaced as 2Y and as widely spaced as 14Y, the limits being determined by the focal length of the antenna. Use with two degree spacing is possible for focal length greater than 60". For a 36" focal length the minimum satellite spacing that can be accommodated is 3 degrees. Maximum spacing is approximately 14 degrees, with some noticeable degradation beyond 10 degrees for typical reflectors. As well, an easy-to-use software package is available which runs on any MS-DOS personal computer.
ORDERING INFORMATION
The standard part number is MOFF.2/*.*/ff.. where:
*.* is the antenna diameter in meters. Standard values are 3.0 (10'), 3.7 (12') and 3.5 (15'). Other diamters are available up to 7.5m (25').
ff.. is the feed horn arrangement where C, K, D stand for C band, Ku Band, Dual Band feed horns respectively.
Example: a MOFF for the reception of both C and Ku Band on Anik E2 and C only on ANIK E1 on a 3.0m antenna may be ordered as Part No. MOFF.2/3.0/DC
A MOFF can also be ordered by specifying which satellites and which bands are to be received, and the diameter of the antenna. If the focal length and headend coordinates are also provided, computer generated parameters can be furnished to assist in alignment of the antenna and MOFF.
