They Cygnet series of electronic racking components was developed by Earthvision in response to a need for functional, low-cost racking systems recognizing the special needs of the CATV and SMATV industry. The racking systems are suitable for many other commerical, institutional and educational applications.
Energy and space efficiency are paramount consideration as well as a high strength/weight ratio. Maximum convection cooling is afforded through use of special panels allowing equipment to be racked on-end.
Standard EIA rack mounting is provided on the front and back of the rack allowing interface panels, power supplies and power bars to be mounted opposite the equipment for convenient cable routing and efficient use of rack space.
Fully integrated racks may be transported on their backs or sides without damaging cables, connectors or electronic controls.
